In an achievement that reflects the prestigious scientific standing of our academic staff on an international level, Professor Dr. Ibtisam Kamal, Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department at Al-Warkaa University College, received an official letter of appreciation from the leading global publishing house “Elsevier,” in recognition of her outstanding scientific efforts during the year 2025.

This international recognition appreciates Dr. Kamal’s role as a “Peer Reviewer” for a number of research papers and studies submitted for publication in international journals affiliated with the publisher and indexed within the global “Scopus” databases.
