As part of its efforts to develop the academic and scientific level, Al-Warka University College signed a twinning and joint cooperation agreement with the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the Southern Technical University.

Al-Warka University College was represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Nader Abdul Salman, while the College of Health and Medical Technologies was represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Alaa Kadhim Jassim.

This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two colleges and open new horizons in the fields of scientific research and academic development, in addition to exchanging expertise and scientific visits, and participating in joint research projects and training programs.

Both parties confirmed that the agreement comes within the framework of enhancing partnership between Iraqi academic institutions and the joint pursuit of advancing the level of higher education to match leading universities, in accordance with the official regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
