The Middle Technical University of Al-Furat signed a twinning agreement with Al-Warka University College.
In its pursuit of advancing academic and scientific standards and enhancing research collaboration, the College of Health and Medical Technologies/Kufa, part of the Middle Technical University of Al-Furat, signed a twinning and joint cooperation agreement with Al-Warka University College. The agreement aims to achieve scientific integration between the universities and open new avenues for academic and research collaboration, benefiting students and enhancing the quality of the educational process for both parties.
The signing ceremony took place during a visit by a delegation from Al-Warka University College, headed by its Dean, Professor Dr. Nader Abdul Salman Abu Tbeikh, to the College of Health and Medical Technologies/Kufa, where they were received by Professor Dr. Anham Jassim Al-Rumahi, Dean of the college, along with the senior faculty staff.
The agreement includes standardizing and developing curricula for corresponding programs, exchanging books and scientific resources, and adopting joint examination mechanisms.
It also covers cooperation in teaching and scientific research, conducting research and publishing scientific work, supervising student graduation projects, as well as mutually utilizing laboratories and educational workshops. Additionally, it includes organizing workshops and training courses to develop teaching and technical staff skills, along with collaboration in various fields and joint student activities.
Dr. Al-Rumahi explained, “The agreement represents an important step to support the quality of higher education and develop academic programs, in line with accreditation requirements, as scientific partnerships contribute to strengthening research rigor and expanding institutional collaboration horizons.”
