As part of its annual plan to support student activities and foster sportsmanship among students, the Student Activities Unit at Al-Warkaa University College has launched the annual Futsal Tournament, featuring wide participation from various scientific departments.

This tournament is part of the college’s commitment to activating extracurricular activities that contribute to building student character, developing physical skills, and creating an environment of positive interaction and networking among students of different departments.

Kick-off of Group One Matches

The tournament inaugurated its first rounds on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, with an exciting match in Group One between the Medical Physics Department and the Dentistry Department at 9:30 AM. The match was characterized by intense competition and a high technical level, reflecting the excellent preparation of the participating teams.

Continued Excitement in Groups Two and Three

The tournament competitions are scheduled to continue tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8, 2026, with two decisive matches starting at 9:30 AM:

• Match Two (Group Two): Between the Electrical Engineering Department (A) and the Chemistry Education Department.

• Match Three (Group Three): Between the Electrical Engineering Department (B) and the Medical Laboratory Techniques Department (B).

Deanship Support for Sports Activities

The Deanship of Al-Warkaa University College emphasized that this tournament marks the beginning of a series of sports and cultural activities planned for this year. The deanship noted its keenness to provide all necessary supplies and equipment to ensure the success of the tournament and its appearance at a level befitting the college’s reputation.
