New Scientific Achievement: Petroleum Engineering Research Published in PES Journal Within Scopus Indices

In line with the continuous scientific successes of the Petroleum Engineering Department and reflecting the college’s strategy to enhance rigorous scientific research, a new research paper has been published in the prestigious international journal “Proceedings on Engineering Sciences (PES)”. This peer-reviewed journal is published by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kragujevac, Serbia, and is indexed within Scopus.

The research, titled: “PROPERTIES OF OPTIMIZED CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITES INCORPORATE PRECIPITATED CACO3 PARTICLES” was co-authored by: (Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Kamal, Dr. Adel AlMenhosh, Dr. Ammar Abed, and Mr. Hassan Muhammad).

The study highlights a sophisticated technique for using Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) particles as cement additives to improve mechanical and physical properties while aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of the construction industry. This achievement underscores the department’s commitment to international scientific standards and contributes significantly to raising the college’s global academic ranking.
