This visit, which took place under the supervision and accompaniment of the heads of the scientific departments and a distinguished group of the teaching faculty, comes within the framework of the training curricula aimed at developing students’ skills and familiarizing them with the real working environment in leading healthcare institutions.

Developing Capabilities and Exploring the Latest Medical Technologies

The field visit witnessed high cooperation from the medical and administrative staff of Al-Thaqalayn Hospital. Tours were organized across various departments, interspersed with valuable introductory and explanatory lectures. The explanations focused on the working mechanisms of modern and complex medical devices used in diagnosing and treating tumors, and how to operate them both technically and medically. This significantly contributed to enriching the students’ scientific knowledge and bridging the gap between their academic studies and modern clinical reality.

During the tour, copies of the Holy Quran and symbolic gifts were presented to the patients. This step was highly appreciated as it contributed to providing psychological and moral support, drawing a smile on their faces, and offering prayers for their speedy recovery.
