A Strategic Step Towards Academic Excellence... Al-Warkaa University College Signs a Twinning and Joint Scientific Cooperation Agreement with Middle Technical University

In an academic achievement that reflects its commitment to elevating its scientific and research standards to the level of prestigious universities, Al-Warkaa University College has concluded a comprehensive twinning and joint cooperation agreement with Middle Technical University.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of representatives from both parties. Middle Technical University was represented by its President, Professor Dr. Waddah Amer Hatem, while Al-Warkaa University College was represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Salem Thamer. This agreement aims to open new horizons for bilateral cooperation and strengthen the bonds of joint academic work between public and private higher education institutions.

Comprehensive Clauses to Enhance the Educational Process

The memorandum included in its first article, concerning (Teaching), a set of strategic clauses aimed at unifying scientific visions and efforts in corresponding disciplines between the two institutions. The most notable of these are:

  • Unifying Curricula: Cooperating in developing plans and vocabularies, unifying the academic curricula for shared specializations, and exchanging books and scientific resources.

  • Staff Development: Organizing joint training workshops aimed at developing the skills of teaching and technical staff in the fields of modern teaching methods.

  • Student Support and Training: Activating cooperation in the field of summer training for students and joint supervision of graduation projects for final-year students.

  • Optimal Investment of Infrastructure: Mutual benefit and cooperation in utilizing the laboratories and scientific workshops available in both institutions to serve the practical application aspect.

  • Academic Twinning and Examinations: Agreeing to conduct joint theoretical lectures and hold unified examinations for students in two academic subjects within the specialization for post-first-year stages.

At the conclusion of the agreement signing, both sides affirmed that this step will actively contribute to raising the scientific and research standards and exchanging academic expertise. This will positively reflect on the outcomes of the educational process, providing the labor market with graduates who possess solid scientific and practical skills in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations
